Premium Milford Sound Small Group Tour, Cruise & Picnic Lunch from Queenstown

This was an amazing journey and it was worth getting the tour instead of trying to drive it. Our Dutch tour guide collected us promptly at 6.30am and drove to Te Anau where we stopped for coffee and breakfast. Then on to Milford Sound with scheduled stops to see the views. Weather was mixed but we got great photos. The boat trip on the sound was wild and incredible, with dolphins snd seals seen, and everyone on deck got wet ( luckily wearing raincoats) when the sea whooshed up a load of spray( not a wave) on the boat. My Top tip is to stop the auto flash on your DSLR camera(as mine ran out of battery halfway through the cruise). Bring a raincoat and close fitting hat.

I traveled with my wife and took this trip to Milford Sound. We throughly enjoyed the trip. The tour guide Chris has an extensive knowledge of the area and took care all of us very well through out the trip and I highly recommend.

The tour is long but worth it. Melfor Sound is amazingly beautiful ! The driver'Glen' is organized & knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

Lynette was fantastic! She was informative and enthusiastic throughout the tour, and was great about pulling off the road to make the 4 hour ride there and back worth it! We stopped for waterfalls, gorgeous views and even a kea that she spotted from the road! Thank you Lynette for your hospitality!

Amazing experience was more than I expected the Milford was such an amazing xperience will live forever in my mind. The waterfalls were simply breathtaking Our guide Joseph was great energetic and knowledgeable. He took the time to take us to every place he could think to take pictures of all of us. Highly recommended this tour.

Milford sound is not to be missed if you're in this area of New Zealand. We particularly enjoyed being on a small group tour and the additional almost 2 hours on the cruise boat was also relatively small so we weren't pressed by crowds. Our guide Shura was very informative and kept us comfortably on time, with multiple stops along the way for photo ops, toilet as needed, and a few short nature walks. The lunch provided was good and the entire experience was really well worth it.

This tour was perfect! It's a long day but well worth the time for the unique and very interesting experience. Definitely not to be missed! We were very glad that we chose theis small group tour with Shura. She was an excellent guide and took great care of us.

Danny made our bucket list adventure a 10! He is super fun, knowledgeable and made a 12 hour journey seem like it breezed by. We loved his playlist and know that our trip wouldn’t have been the same without him. The cruise & mirror lake were so beautiful. Plus we were lucky to have gorgeous weather. He clearly loves New Zealand & infused our trip with passion for this beautiful landscape. Thanks Danny for such a spectacular adventure!
